TIFFIN, OHIO – March 28, 2025 - The annual Third Thursday Artist Stroll will return to Downtown Tiffin on Thursday, April 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. The event gives local artists a chance to showcase and sell their work inside participating downtown businesses, offering a unique way for the community to experience art.

This year’s event will feature a wide variety of art forms, including watercolor, acrylic, and oil paintings; leather goods; embroidery and crocheted items; custom folded books; and glass ornaments. There will also be a variety of jewelry styles including vintage, custom, and hand stamped.

Mayor Lee Wilkinson shared, "The Third Thursday Artist Stroll is a wonderful celebration of creativity and community in Downtown Tiffin.  I encourage residents and visitors alike to come out, explore, and support the arts in Tiffin. There’s something for everyone to enjoy."

In addition to the artist displays, the Tiffin Municipal Arts Commission (TMAC) is sponsoring sidewalk chalk stations throughout downtown, giving attendees of all ages a chance to contribute to the creativity. A coloring page station for kids will also be set up inside the Laird Building.

Smokin’ Sows BBQ food truck will be in City Parking Lot 5 for those who’d like to grab an on-the-go bite while enjoying the event. Visitors are also encouraged to explore the many outstanding restaurants throughout Downtown Tiffin, offering a variety of dine-in and carryout options to suit every taste.

Downtown Tiffin is currently looking for artists to participate in this year’s event. Artists will be matched with local businesses. Interested artists can sign up by April 3 at https://forms.gle/ZoZzQqZKyxWDj7Wv6.

The 2025 Third Thursday series is sponsored by UIS Insurance & Investments, Reineke Family Dealerships, Croghan Colonial Bank, Mercy Health–Tiffin, and Destination Seneca County.

About Downtown Tiffin

The revitalization of downtown Tiffin began in 2011, when a group of community members came together to form “Tiffin Tomorrow”, with the goal of promoting and encouraging economic development in Downtown Tiffin, and creating plans, programs, and actions to ensure long-term vitality and prosperity. In 2014, the City of Tiffin contracted with SIEDC to act as the downtown organization and “Tiffin Tomorrow” came under the SIEDC (now TSEP) umbrella as the “Downtown Development Board,” which serves as the governing board of the downtown organization. In 2015, Tiffin joined Heritage Ohio’s Main Street Program. For more information, click here.
