TIFFIN, OHIO – May 22, 2023 – Downtown Tiffin is thrilled to announce the addition of an exciting new event to its 3rd Thursday series: Fête de la Musique, also known as Music Day. Taking place on Thursday, June 15, from 5 to 7 p.m., this celebration of music promises to kick off the summer season with a harmonious blend of talent and entertainment. Originating in France, Fête de la Musique brings people together to perform live music in the streets, and Downtown Tiffin aims to recreate that vibrant spirit right here in Ohio.
Fête de la Musique will transform Downtown Tiffin into a musical wonderland, with talented local musicians taking to the sidewalks, street corners, and Frost Parkway. In addition to the diverse array of musical performances, there will be engaging activities throughout downtown, ensuring an unforgettable evening for all ages.
Vickie Wilkins, co-chair of the June 3rd Thursday event, encourages musicians of all genres and skill levels to participate. She stated, "Fête de la Musique presents a unique opportunity for local musicians to showcase their talents and connect with the community. We welcome all musicians to apply and join us in creating an unforgettable evening of music in downtown Tiffin." Applications will be accepted through May 31, 2023 by filling out the application form. Contact Vickie Wilkins with questions at wilkinsvm@tiffin.edu.

About Downtown Tiffin
The revitalization of downtown Tiffin began in 2011, when a group of community members came together to form “Tiffin Tomorrow”, with the goal of promoting and encouraging economic development in Downtown Tiffin, and creating plans, programs and actions to ensure long-term vitality and prosperity. In 2014, the City of Tiffin contracted with SIEDC to act as the downtown organization and “Tiffin Tomorrow” came under the SIEDC (now TSEP) umbrella as the “Downtown Development Board,” which serves as the governing board of the downtown organization. In 2015, Tiffin joined Heritage Ohio’s Main Street Program. For more information, click here.
